Green Bay & Western RS11 309 switches the yard in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Alco displays the name H. Weldon McGee in honor of the road’s president from 1962-78.

Green Bay & Western RS11 #309 is nearing its final destination of Kewaunee with a Boat Train in December of 1987. She will soon be switching cars off the carferry at the dock.

A faded 309 works the east side of Plover with a single mechanical reefer in tow. A sight that was once very common that all to soon would disappear from railroading.
